Privacy Policy
JBE Digital (ABN 15 392 983 839) is a Melbourne-based digital marketing agency. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect personal information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number and business details when you submit an enquiry form, request an audit, subscribe to communications or engage our services.
Like most websites, we also collect data automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics data (pages visited, time on site, referral source, device and browser information) via tools such as Google Analytics, and advertising data via platform pixels and tags (such as Google and Meta) used to measure campaigns and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising through the settings offered by Google and Meta.
We do not collect or store credit card or payment card details. Payments are processed by bank transfer or through secure third-party payment providers.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, manage client relationships and billing, send communications you have requested or agreed to receive, and measure and improve our website and marketing. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
Client data
Where clients provide us with information for marketing delivery, such as customer contact lists for approved campaigns, we handle it only for the purposes the client instructs, keep it confidential, and delete or return it when no longer required.
How we disclose it
We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only: to contractors and service providers who assist in delivering our services, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations; to platform providers (such as Google and Meta) as part of operating campaigns and analytics; where you have consented; or where required or authorised by law. Some of our contractors and service providers may be located overseas. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy law.
Storage and security
Information we hold is protected by measures appropriate to our size and the nature of the data, including two-factor authentication across business accounts, access limited to people working on the relevant account, and confidentiality agreements with all contractors. Information no longer required is deleted or de-identified.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you, or ask to be removed from our database, by emailing us at the address below. If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
